Promise Newlywed Spotlight - Lauren & Vance!

Lauren and Vance were married July 19th, and we were totally thrilled to get the pictures!

Their ceremony was at historic Holy Trinity Church, and the reception at the picturesque Fairmont Hotel - both in DC.

What an incredible day - and I don't just mean how wonderful everything looked! The weather was stunning. Between the blue sky, the blue bridesmaid dresses (from one of our favorites, Coren Moore), Vance looking dapper, and Lauren in her gown, everything looks crisp, elegant, and just downright marvelous.

Lauren looks dazzling in her Silk Dupioni Lea Ann Belter gown! The draping, sweetheart neckline and mermaid skirt are so striking on her. We also love, love, love the cathedral length veil - it's icing on the cake!

Lauren's chic, understated hair and make-up were both taken care of by the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa in Friendship Heights (Isabelle did makeup and Rick did her hair).

Matt Mendelsohn was Lauren's photographer - he did an extraordinary job capturing every moment of Lauren and Vance's wedding day! Not to mention all the striking scenes around DC!


The flowers by DaVinci look so lush, refreshing, and crisp. Just looking at them makes me think of being by the water! Perfect for a summer wedding.

Lauren's mom sells those posh pearl necklaces that each of her bridesmaids are wearing (they were given as gifts to each attendant). We think they are set off beautifully by the airy, summery blue Silk Dupioni Coren Moore dresses and white hydrangea!



We also loved the details Lauren and Vance had waiting for their guests. The charming escort cards and elegant place settings made for a very gracious event (scroll down for more images) - everyone looked like they had a blast!
